You've just found your favourite Lincoln Networking Event (with brunch)
We only launch our Lincoln Networking Event in September and it was so much of a hit that we’re making it a permanent fixture.
We think it’s a little different from other networking events in Lincoln, and here’s why…
1. Chilled vibes
We created an event we'd want to attend ourselves - a Networking Event with Brunch.
The vibe of our Lincoln Networking Brunch doesn’t happen by accident. The venue (The Oaks at Lincoln Golf Centre) has been hand-picked because it’s the perfect environment for a morning of relaxed networking – beautiful surroundings, delicious food, and oodles of free parking. The venue is wheelchair accessible too.
There’s no format at our brunch – simply rock up order your drink and what you’d like to eat, mooch about, and chat to whoever you like for as long or as little as you like.
Oh, and there are no name stickers or lanyards (except for our wonderful host, Ian).
2. Good company
We attract the loveliest Lincolnshire business folk.
It’s like we’ve curated an intentional room of Lincolnshire businesses. But we haven’t!
Maybe it’s our content, our imagery, or our marketing. Whatever it is, we’re doing something right because we seem to attract the loveliest of people.
Literally everyone is a delight to spend time with.
Fancy joining us one month?
3. Deliciously moreish food
Enjoy a tasty brunch to see you through the afternoon.
In our opinion a networking event isn’t a networking event without food. The Oaks chefs will rustle up your chosen dish (pick from their menu when you arrive) for you to enjoy as you continue the conversation.
You can expect things like a full English, smashed avocado on sourdough, or a stack of glutenous pancakes (there’s no judgement here).
You’ll get your caffeine fix too!
4. No pitches
We're a big fa no when it comes to awkward 60-second pitches.
Our Founder, Gemma, has always wanted the ground to swallow her up if there’s the slightest mention of a 60-second pitch. So at our Lincoln Networking Events we don’t have them.
If you prefer an event where you have to give, and listen to a bunch of pitches, our brunch isn’t for you – sorry.
5. No presentations
It's not our vibe, sorry.
We’ve all been there – sat listening to a presentation that felt like it went on for hours.
Not at our Lincoln Networking Brunch.
We appreciate networking events with presentations, and attend them ourselves, but we’ll be having no presentations at ours. As with the no-pitches rule, if you’re looking for an event with presentations, we’re not it.
