When we say, “services”, we are referring to The Business Social and/or Stand Out Get Noticed Ltd providing networking events and related services to individuals and businesses.

2. Who has access to your information?

We collect and have access to your information. Under no circumstances, will we sell your data. We will, however, share your first name, last name, and email address to those who attended the same events as you.

All third party data processors used on this website are GDPR compliant.

This website uses the following:

  • WordPress is the platform used to develop this website.
  • FluentCRM is used to collect client information and send out email campaigns.
  • 17Hats is used to collect client information and manage projects, proposals, and invoices.
  • Totemic IT provide secure hosting for this website.
  • Eventbrite is used to manage ticket bookings
  • Stripe enables us to take payments for events
  • Google Analytics is used to track the use of our website.

3. What information do we collect about you?

We only ever ask for your first name, last name, email address and telephone number when contacting us via this website. If you decide to attend our events we may ask for your full address for invoicing purposes, and for any specific access or dietary requirements.

In email responses, if you have a detailed email signature, this information may be sent to us by reply.

We also collect anonymous data on your use of www.nottinghamnetworking.com to help us to make improvements to your experience when using this website.

4. Why do we collect your information?

We collect your information to:

  • send you your event booking confirmation
  • keep you updated about events you’re booked onto
  • inform you of any event cancellations or date changes
  • ask for data for case study material
  • process proposals, contracts, agreements and invoices
  • respond to any queries or requests
  • to follow up on your satisfaction levels
  • comply with legal requirements
  • send you details of upcoming events (if you’ve subscribed to our mailing list)
  • share with other attendees after an event
  • to liaise with you about any competition wins

5. Where is your data stored/used?

All data is stored on a secure computer and/or one or more of the above third parties, and can only be accessed by the business owner.

Photos and feedback, including your your first name/s and/or company name may be used on:

  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn
  • or any other social media channel

 

They may also be used in printed marketing and advertising (magazines, flyers etc.).

6. How long is your data stored for?

  • Your data will be stored in our event booking software until it is automatically deleted, or you request us to remove it.
  • When submitting an enquiry via our website, your details are sent straight to the business owner, Gemma Wilks, via email. Your details will be logged in Fluent CRM and 17Hats, in order for us to keep track of leads.
  • Photos and video that have been captured at our events will be stored indefinitely. 
  • If your photos are a result of a competition win, your photo gallery may be deleted after five days.

It is your responsibility to ensure you save your photos, artwork and any related files locally. 

7. How is your data used?

Any data submitted via our website or by any other means is only ever used solely for the purpose in which it is supplied.

Only the required data is collected.

8. Your rights
